Wizard Skills
A wizard's skills focus on improving their spells-whether by increasing their duration, their base strength, or the strength of summoned creatures. Wizards may not be destined to shoot wands (they are much more effective when using "normal" spells), but do not underestimate the skill of the Master of Wands - not with his ability to increase the Initiative of the entire army, thereby giving you a chance to start a fight. If the wizard acts first, they will have a strategic advantage over the enemy - mainly because they will be able to destroy the enemy hero before the enemy hero kills him.
The choice of abilities depends on the preferred type of magic schools and the chosen specialization (described in the previous chapters and in the chapter on magic). Generally speaking, summoning enthusiasts should pay special attention to Necromancy and Summoning, while other Wizards should be interested in Concentration, Magical Power, and Thaumaturgy. Wisdom that increases the number of spells is useful to all magic users.
The Sorcerer
All the skills of a Sorcerer should be focused on strengthening spells, that is, increasing their duration and effectiveness. Spend some points on commander skills, they will give bonuses to your army.
The budget for maintaining rituals
In addition to the already mentioned ways to replenish your budget (conquest, exploration, expansion and abilities of heroes), there are also rituals. These are global action spells that affect the gameplay in different ways, often slightly changing its rules. They described in detail in their chapter (Rituals), so let's take a look at those related to the budget.
Enchanted Chest
Applied to the union province, it gives a one-time amount of gold depending on the population density. It also reduces the level of Happiness in the province by 1.
The Dark Ritual
He sacrifices a part of the population of the province, lowering his Happiness by 1 in exchange for a randomly generated number of crystals. It works only in the Union and populated provinces.
Gifts of the Earth
Increases all revenue earned in the selected province by 10 rounds.
Lightning Tower
There is a tower in the province that constantly increases the income of crystals and defeats enemies during the battle. It can be raised only if there is enough space and it is the only building of this type in the province.
